Corporate identities


Corporate identity for GasTerra (international company trading in natural gas). From 2005 till 2009 I made a diverse range of products for this company. The brandmark of GasTerra (formerly Gasunie and Gasunie Trade & Supply) was made by Andrew Fallon.

The project started with the brandportfolio (Transition Program) and in particular the promotion of the Home CHP (HRe-ketel). The result was the Exhibition Design for the Cebit (Hannover) and the World Gas Conference (Amsterdam). Consisting out of 3D-objects and several animations.

Printed Matter

The scent of printed matter, diamond-screen lithography combined with the craftmanship of the printer and binder. It’s always a present to have a tactile object in your hands. Whether it is a flyer with scratch-off ink, a threeway folded brochure or an annual report with numbers and digits.

Signing and Fleet Marking


Deltares originated in 2008 from a merger with WL Delft Hydraulics, GeoDelft en parts of TNO Construction and Subsurface and parts of the Ministry Transport, Public Works and Water Management. Deltares is a Dutch independent research institute for water, soil and subsurface issues. The idea behind the visual identity and brandmark is the juxtaposition of hardness/softness (technical/nature). I co-designed the brandmark and consequently was responsible for the environmental design, signing system of multiple locations and the fleet marking.

Brands and Marks


In the last couple of years I made numerous brands. Later on these brands came to life by means of their visual identity, but also found great joy and satisfaction in drawing and perfecting the shapes, colours and curves. Most brands are the result of collaborative effort.

Retail and Interior Design


In the timeframe of 2005 till 2008 I was responsible for the creation and implementation of the Retail concept for Menzis Healthcare Insurances (14 locations in the Netherlands). Signifying elements are the foils for the exterior and the development of various 3D-objects, for example the sound-absorbing table dividers.

Research, Strategy and Creative Concepts


My passion for contextual analysis and the visual translation hereof is key for my approach of (graphic) design. In the research phase of pitches, competitions or revitalization-projects of existing identities I utilized my skills to realize creative concepts. Examples;
• Albert Schweitzer Hospital (revitalisation and brandportfolio)
• Agis Health Insurance (brand-analysis and benchmarking)
• Woonstad Rotterdam (visualization of strategic policy)
• Evides (survey of Key Performance Indicators and proposal for Dashboard)
• Municipality of Zaanstad (development of six design proposals and creative argumentation)
• Proost en Brandt (pitch for Lumi paper-range)

Websites and multimedia


The transformation of a corporate identity into an interactive environment can take many different shapes. Not only to your audience but also for your own organisation. Examples are;
• Automation (templates)
• Presentations (corporate movie, powerpoint/keynote)
• Online activities (internet, brandportal or social media)
• Animations (motion-graphics, VR-presentation)

The right combination of branding and strategy (marketing) is the starting point. The creative output and technical implementation follow.
